Edward Lee Cave Division

Alexis MacDonald is the quintessential native New Yorker whose life experience has led her inexorably to residential real estate sales working with Caroline Guthrie, President of the Edward Lee Cave Division of Brown Harris Stevens.

Alexis was born on the Upper West Side and raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.  As a teenager she traveled to The Thacher School in Ojai, California.  She earned her BFA in philosophy from Colgate University and the University of Wollongong in Australia, and did independent study of the philosophy of art and the philosophy of emotion at St. Catherines College, Oxford University.

Alexis is part of a New York real estate family who include her Californian father and her French mother.  With real estate in her blood, she has served as the building manager for a beautiful cooperative townhouse on the Upper West Side, and prior to the official launch of her career as an agent, used her considerable intuition matching friends with homes they are happy in.

Alexis is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York and volunteers at Memorial Sloane Kettering in the patient pediatrics department.
